“The more you put invest in yourself, the more others will invest in you” -Ray Thomas
This is Justification for a Rolex, nice clothes, and an education. No matter what, there are accepte laws of living and even though some of those laws are superficial in appearence, they are laws and need to be recognized on some level in your life if you are to achieve the things you want to achieve.
I sell Jewelry. I do not usually wear jewelry, but, the truth is, if I want to be taken seriously as a legit jewelry sales man (the “jewelry go-to guy”) then I need to look the part. I will be judged on my appearence. All people are. “the clothes makes the man.” -unknown. However, the fact that they place more trust in me because I wear what I sell and that I look like my life is always at this level and not just at work, does not mean that all aspects of this law are superficial. for example, if I invest in knowledge of jewelry, I will be taken a good bit more seriously and will develop more instant trust with my customers. I want to be an artist actually. and what that means for me is that I need to show my art often (as I can not wear my art) and to get a formal education as an artist. I learn a lot by my own studyies/experiences but a formal education is necessary to be part of a group that is viewed as legit. I hope to be an exchange student at many different european schools. I think I’ve made my point more than clear. Invest in yourself!
Music! Working out! playing guitar! and talking to a trusted family member or friend
I don’t mean to sound arrogant right off, but I have this idea that success is a personallity trait. Think about it. Think of your current circumstances. How would someone like…. donald trump for example react? what would he do? would he do what you are doing if he was in your situation? maybe… but more than likely he’d find a quick route to being hugely successful. but you also must realize that your talents and his are not the same. you may be a musician and not a finance guru. however, I think if he had your musical talent then he would do something with it and be equally successful.
I therefore believe in success being a personallity trait, or to be more clear, a sum of many personallity traits.
what are some personallity traits that add up to success?
-determined/persistant
-happy
-organized
-focused
-loving/giving/generous
-risk taking
these are a few examples of personallities that if added up could equal big things. whats funny is that these seem to all be behaviours that can be learned. So I believe any one of us can learn to be successful in whatever terms we define success.
I believe that I am a success story in the making. And I journal quite frequently, but I realized that if I keep it all to myself then nobody else can learn and benefit from it. Also I want support, hopefully you guys will encourage me and inspire me with your own stories! I want to talk to you too so hit me up :) will post more later on :)
